Twice a year AIC holds a clubs and activities sign-up afternoon when club leaders advertise their club and recruit new participants.

All of the clubs and activities are student-driven with an adult supervisor. Being student-led means that strong leadership and organisational abilities are required to make a success of each club and activity. In general most clubs have just one leader, though some larger clubs have a co-leader or deputy leader. If a student wishes to start their own club where their particular interest is not already represented, this is welcomed and they are encouraged to do so.

The breadth and range of clubs and activities provides a multitude of opportunities for students to exhibit and grow their leadership abilities and styles.
